You will find current happenings as well as a brief step by step update of the various stages of the COMPASS project. Please visit often! New Happenings!! Lawson’s Requisition Self-Service went live on June 14th! Users throughout the District who have attended the training are now able to enter FY2011 purchase requisitions into Lawson! Feedback to date has been very positive, users LOVE the new system. Core Financials & Purchasing In conjunction with Requisition Self-Service which went live on June 14th, the remaining Finance and Procurement suite went live on July 1st! Core HR & Payroll Prototype testing is complete and the teams are now preparing for parallel testing. During parallel testing, complete periods of transactions will be processed in Lawson and the results will then be compared against legacy system output for those same periods to ensure results are as expected. Budgeting/Planning, Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management The Lawson Budgeting & Planning, and Strategic Sourcing/Contract Management sub-projects both kicked off at the beginning of August. The project teams have just completed their training on the new applications and will now begin design work. Student Activities & ECS This implementation includes Student Activities and Extended Child Services. Go-live date for this implementation is April, 2011 |

Apriant (an outside consultant). We are pleased to report that Lawson was selected as the vendor for this project. Lawson is a leader in providing state-of-the-art Enterprise Resource Planning software. With board approval, the Cherry Creek School District purchased the software and hardware necessary and has now begun the design phase of the system.
